In the Insight Out Mental Health & Counseling Area, we take care of the Mental Health of Adults, Adolescents & Children
Each session is designed according to the personal needs of the patient
The methods used are:
Treatment with Playmobil which primarily facilitates the verbalization of feelings and depicts the situation in which the patient is at the present moment, thus giving a realistic picture that helps him get closer to the solution.
It is a treatment that examines the position of the treated person in the various systems he belongs to and how these affect the quality of his life in the present.
In many cases, one session with Playmobil is enough for the patient to understand or even resolve the issue that concerns him.
Indicatively, we would say that a session with Playmobil can be applied to decision-making, to the settlement of internal conflicts, to work stress, to parental stress, to phobias, to the creation of healthy relationships.
THE Therapeutic writing refers to the recording of emotions and the process of burdensome situations faced by the patient.
Therapeutic writing is not simply journaling with free association. It is a writing therapy that uses appropriate structured exercises that aim to lead the patient to a deeper understanding of the issues that concern him so that he can process them and find the solution.
A Therapeutic writing session can be structured only with appropriate exercises, be part of a speaking session (Speech therapy) or be combined with other methods of creative expression such as Collage.
Healing writing is suitable for adults. No previous writing experience required and not related to Creative Writing. Any client with or without previous writing experience can benefit from Therapeutic Writing to manage grief, make decisions, manage self-image, and better understand their vulnerability.
THE Bibliotherapy is a treatment that can be combined with Healing scripture.
It refers to the use of texts or poems that either the treated person himself has chosen to bring to the session and which represent the situation he is experiencing at that particular moment, or the Therapist chooses for the treated person the texts or poems that he deems appropriate better suited to the needs of the patient.
During a Bibliotherapy session, the patient's thoughts and feelings are analyzed in order to gain a deeper understanding of the issues that concern him and of himself.
The Bibliography is suitable for adults and requires a prior familiarity and love of the patient for reading.
THE Therapeutic Photography it serves as a complementary means of expression during the session and can also be used as an independent means of treatment.
Therapeutic photography refers to the use of photographs from the life of the treated person which can tell his story thus giving valuable information both to him and to the Therapist for a better understanding of the issues that concern the treated person while also offering him a greater introspection.
Therapeutic photography can be applied to adults as well as children and can help with trauma processing, bereavement, self-image and self-understanding and can be combined with Collage.
THE Therapeutic Yoga is a relaxation method that is applied before the start of the session in order for the treated person to come to a state of calm and to be able to have a better connection with his soul, but also at the end of the session to offer the treated person deep relaxation which will gradually lead him in greater introspection
It combines a series of Pranayama Yoga breathing and stressing exercises as well as Nidra Yoga deep relaxation techniques
It is applied to adults and can be a very effective method to relieve stress and also greatly improve the quality of sleep
